14 Valentines
Here's where I'm keeping the progress/updates on the podfics I plan on releasing during 14valentines . I'm aiming for 14 approximate hours, and around 158,600 words. The entire set list is complete, 14 fic in seven fandoms. :) Author permission has been asked for and granted, so all that's left is to get it done. :D Any bets on if I can do it? Yeah, this is my life.
Did I ever tell about the time I was so stressed out that I lost 15 pounds in 5 weeks, while consuming three times my usual caloric intake...then fainted in the middle of my office? Guys, I just need one more fic to have my set list for 14valentines complete. I've asked an author about an SPN fic, the first SPN fic I'd ever read, and I'm just waiting on that. I hope hope hope that she says yes. *crossed fingers*

fandom relationships
The other day, bookshop made a post about how she suspects that, rather than falling in love with people, she falls in love with ships. In a much more articulate way, she compared her favorite ships with typical relationships...and I got to thinking about how my fandom history could be summarized in a similar way.

Like the help_haiti comm, help_pakistan has been created for relief/aid in Pakistan in the aftermath of the flooding disaster. Same concept, slightly different format.
I'm offering a podfic of up to 10,000 words to the two highest bidders and one fic of 10,000 words or more to the highest bidder. The Audio Offerings post is here.

Jumping a car
Today, I found out that one of my friends didn't know how to change a tire. She's 26 and been driving for forever. I find this somewhat confusing, since I wasn't even allowed my first driving lesson until I could change a tire on my own and successfully jump start a car.
